Look, I get it.
If you are a business owner, you are like me.
Your time is valuable, so let’s just cut to the chase.
We offer only one service at Flower City SEO and that service is getting your business more sales.
We look at creating sales on two fronts:
1. Building Online Traffic
2. Increasing Online Conversion
So How do We Build Online Traffic?
Search Engine Optimization is our specialty and we’ve trained under some of the greats like Kotton Grammer. Search is arguably the most powerful form of traffic for a local business.
Did you know that…
30% of mobile searches are related to a location? (Google, 2016)
28% of searches for something nearby result in a purchase? (Google, 2016)
Local searches lead 50% of mobile visitors to visit stores within one day? (Google, 2014)
Google rankings come slowly, but they can be a powerful asset of FREE TRAFFIC your business can draw on for years to come.
For faster results, we turn to paid advertising.
Our paid ads are done through Google Adwords and Facebook Ads.
Many digital marketers will stop there.
But how valuable is traffic to a website if your website can’t convert it into paying customers?
This is why we place a heavy emphasis on conversion.
So How do We Increase Online Conversion?
Online conversion really comes down to creating the right sales funnel.
Are you going after the right audiences and keywords?
Are you using tracking code so that you can remarket to people who visit your website?
Are you optimizing the words and images on your site to create a simple user experience that leads them further down the funnel?
These are just a few of the thoughts that go through our head when we help a client with conversions.
Our job is to optimize your website and sales funnel to put all that new traffic to good use.

6 Tips For Search Engine Optimization
-Build Social Media Profiles
These links won’t do much on their own, but when added together, they will definitely make a difference. These are your links like Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, and Instagram. They make you look like a real business in Google’s eyes and should never be skipped.
Citations go hand in hand with your social media links. Again, these are just going to make you fit in with other trusted businesses online. Some citation examples include Yelp, Google my Business, Bing Places, and Apple Maps. Citations are particularly useful for Local SEO such as getting placed in the map packs.
-Use Keywords in Page Titles and URLs
It’s important to remember at all times that Google can only think like a machine. It’s easy for us humans to tell what a website is about with just a quick glance. For an algorithm, though, it has to pick up the topic through words. The most important words on a site are the words in the page title’s and URLs.
Again, google is a machine! It can’t tell what a picture is about unless you give it a little help. This means always including relevant keywords in the titles and descriptions of your pictures, videos, and other media. Geotagging is also a good idea for local search.
-Use Proper Spelling and Grammar
Grammarly is your friend when it comes to ranking sites. Google can’t only gauge the quality of writing by the quality of the spelling and grammar. Content length is another big one. Make sure you have enough words on the pages you are trying to rank. (Kind of like all the text we’ve put at the bottom of this page here.)
-Build Great Content
This is probably the hardest thing to do right. Great content can’t be faked, but it will give you all those great things that Google likes to see. Great content gives you traffic, a lower bounce rate, and most importantly, LINKS POINTING TO YOUR SITE!
We hope these tips gave you some ideas on how to do better search engine optimization for your site!
